There will be no practice on March 23, 2013. However, there will be a practice during the Easter weekend (March 30). Please attend if possible as there are members visiting from Japan and Alberta.

The dojo is booked Dec 15 by the Karate group so this concludes our practices for December. There will be a break over the holidays and the first class back will be Saturday Jan 5 2013. This will be our new years practice.
Merry Christmas to everyone and see you in the new year! Hi Everyone, There will be no class on Saturday Sept 22nd, 2012. Sept 15 and 29th classes will be as normal. The dojo will be taking a break for the month of August. Practices will resume on the first weekend of September (Sept 1)
Thanks to all members who participated in the Powell Street Festival Demo and have a great summer. See you in Sept The dojo’s new location is 3465 Kingsway Ave. It is near Joyce and is about 10 blocks east of the previous dojo on Kingsway. From this coming practice (July 14) onwards practice will be held here. See you all at the new location. The dojo will be moving to a new location in Vancouver very close to the current building. There will be a break from practices June 30 and July 7 during the transition. Training will resume July 14. The new location will be posted shortly. Please check back for updates. Happy New Years to all members ! The first practice of the year will be January 14, 2012 at our usual time. It is traditional to have a special practice with mochi and sake so please do come out. There will be a dojo dinner this weekend (Dec 10) instead of practice and we will have our final practice of the year on Dec 17 . Practices will resume in January. Please contact David to RSVP so we can make reservations. Due to Easter weekend, class on (only) April 23rd will be cancelled. Hope everyone is enjoying their winter holidays. We would like to welcome our members back to practice for 2011 on January 8th. As is our tradition, we will end practice a little earlier on that day and celebrate the beginning of a new year with some traditional activities. |
